Washington (Fam Edition) – Snoqualmie Falls

Our vacation in Seattle was coming to an end so I decided to take my family on a quick trip to Snoqualmie. Snoqualmie has a nice waterfall that is connected to a power plant. I find the view of the power plant a bit of a sore eye but it has a nice trail leading up to the river or the waterfall. There are two parking lots in the area. The lot across the street is free and the lot closest to the waterfall charges a small fee. There is a bridge that connects over the highway. Once you pass the parking area, you are greeted by the waterfall. 

From there you can walk down to the river/waterfall. The trail on the left takes you to the waterfall and the trail to the right will take you to the river. We took both routes. 

The trail to the river is a short 0.7 mile walk.
